We are looking for a motivated professional to join the team as a Senior Associate.  

The Position
The Senior Associate is an integral part of the Operations team. The mission of a Senior Associate is to work with our private equity clients to ensure project success. The Senior Associate represents Apex Leaders to our clients on projects, works to understand their needs, thinks strategically to ensure success, speaks with industry leaders and experts to ensure fit, and facilitates an introduction. In addition, the Senior Associate will work closely with various members of the team to lead or support ongoing company initiatives that accelerate the growth of Apex Leaders.  The Senior Associate reports to the Director and regularly communicates and closely works with Research Associates, operational account teams, and the Leadership Team.

The ideal candidate

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred

Experience

  • 4+ years’ experience in a professional client facing role
  • Success starting and managing different projects at the same time
  • Working successfully independently and with a broader team  
  • Experience in M&A (Private Equity) a plus

Skills and Abilities

  • Highly organized with great time management skills
  • Consultative approach  working with clients
  • Professional and succinct communication both internally and externally
  • A knack for creative problem solving and critical thinking
  • Exceptional reasoning, judgment, and decision making skills
  • Outstanding project management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly learn and master new computer systems and software
  • Ability to travel half a dozen times annually
